‘ignorant cunts’…or well adjusted human beings for whom Internet browsers are merely a tool to help them get on with the job in hand – research, finding information, porn quests, etc. and who are simply do not have the time or inclination to be embroiled in a nerdesque ‘this browser’s better than than browser’. It would be akin to George Bernard Shaw saying to George Orwell – ‘Don’t read Punch, the quality of the paper is rubbish, read The People’s Friend – it’s nice and shiny. Content is king, not the conduit through which you receive your info, which – for any right minded person – is pretty much an invisible distinction to make.
That said, I use Firefox. But I have my own reasons
No it would be akin to Pete Sampras using a picture frame with an onion bag as a tennis racket. Or Tiger Woods using a hockey stick covered in the foil from kit kats. Tools are important and the quality of a tool is important. Do you boil eggs in a frying pan? IE is a tool and it is a very poor tool which will allow Russian criminals to steal your money. Please don’t equate ignorance to being well adjusted.
That said, I boil eggs in a frying pan. But I have my own reasons
