Blur as confirmed headliners the Saturday. Kings of Leon Friday. I reckon Killers Sunday. I am obviously veering towards Saturday, think Angie wants to go Sunday but I buy the tickets to boo sucks. Mind you, 9am on Friday – I hope I am quiet at work and naebody is looking ower my shoulder.
the list of blur songs being used in adverts and the like is endless including Renault, Bargain Hunt, Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares, Levi’s, Chanel, Coca-Cola,
Nike – i also remember song 2 being in a playstation fitba game.
I had to laugh at the second of clip they played during the Brits of Radiohead, who of course had no chance of winning anything. Thom York is looking more and more like his hero Stephen Hawkings these days. A total spastic.
if we are continuing the blur chat what was that album they released that was in the bargain bin 2 weeks later was that the one with charmless man on it.
did anybody see alex james presenting an award he was holding it in one hand and his mic in the other and when he went to speak he tried to speak into the award. he disnae look like a comedy genius so im guessing he ersed it.

‘Coping’ was used in Bargain Hunt? I never knew David Dickinson was a Modern Life in Rubbish fan. I thought he preferred them when they went lo-fi.
