How does it end though – my brain has Willis in a bank vault, then following the gold laden trucks through some enormous pipe… then it cuts to Lethal Weapon 2 and Mel Gibson’s dropping a shipping container on the “diplomatic immunity” guy.

Aye, I kinda agree. The guy is a bit self righteous and I also do think the amount of stuff he’s revealed is a bit irresponsible.

Apparently the charge relates more to him ‘changing lanes’ without warning during a sexual encounter. And let’s face it, I don’t think there’s many of us would stand up to scrutiny in this regard.

It seems like he’s being treated harshly considering the charges against him. However, he does seem like a bit of an ersehole. Why do we need to know who he is? He should have remained anonymous, let the leaks speak for themselves. By attaching himself to the information an avenue of attack opens up; discredit him, discredit the leaks. Hopefully, the merits of the case against Assange will be treated completely separetly from the leaks, for the sake of Assange and for the sake of the rest of us too.
